Meet Pauline: The writer behind the words
I'm a student at Mount Saint Mary's University in Los Angeles, California. I grew up in Southern California most of my life. The only way I was able to get my words out to the world was to write it out. I first started journaling everything that happened to me. Then in middle school, I began to make up stories and write (I thought I was good). Once I was in high school English was my favorite subject. Since the fifth grade, I knew all I wanted to do was become a journalist. What made me want to become a journalist was Rory Gilmore on 'Gilmore Girls.' Look it up, good show.
Since starting at The Mount, my love for journalism incredibly intensified and it made me sure this is what I wanted to major in and do for the rest of my life. One of my favorite professor by far in my college career made us make a blog to publish our work, and I guess this is an updated version of all of that.
